Cat and Canary

I drew birds with permanent marker on coffee filter,

kids are painting them with Liquid Watercolors.

Yellow background for the big yellow sun.

 Or colors of the sunset...

 Now we will paint the box and than glue our sun and the birds inside.

 We decided - colors of the sunset: pink, purple, and white.
Painting with temperas.

 Making the cat (I cut foam shapes, kids are adding details and gluing everything together on the stick).

Gluing our painted coffee filter inside the box.

Adding cat, with the paper kite on the wire.

 Cat is staying in the cut in the shoe-box, it can be pulled out for a fly and than put back in place.

 And it's done!
